NYC Operations/ Administrative Assistant

Job Description:

  • We are searching for a JACK OF ALL TRADES, MASTER OF NONE to join us as an assist to the Operations Director.   • This position is a contract to full-time opportunity that involves a 6-9 months contract period with the chance of becoming a full-time salaried employee. If you are interested in becoming an integral part of a cutting-edge marketing firm, this is the ideal role for you.

Your Responsibilities include, but not limited to any of the following:

  • ● Supervising day-to-day operations of the company
    ● Evaluating resumes for potential interviews
    ● Developing, reviewing and improving administrative systems, policies and procedures
    ● Ensuring supplies and equipment are ordered and properly maintained
    ● Planning and scheduling of office events, meetings, interviews, team offsites, and training
    ● Maintain multiple reports and logs in Excel – financial reports included
    ● Planning/overseeing special projects for the company
    ● New Hire paperwork
    ● Manual labor may be involved – We are moving soon

Requirements & Skills:

  • ● Bachelor’s degree or similar
    ● Expert Microsoft Excel skills a must
    ● Knowledgeable with the rest of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word & PowerPoint) required
    ● Organization skills and attention to detail are key to this role
    ● Comfortable working in both a team environment and individually
    ● IT skills/knowledge are helpful, but not required
    ● Proficiency with Apple computers
    ● Nimbleness is key – ability to take constructive criticism and learn & adjust thinking is a must
    ● Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment (and then turn up like there’s no tomorrow after all deadlines are met)
    ● Excellent analytical, oral and written skills required
    ● Strong problem-solving skills
    ● Willingness to grow in all aspects is required
    ● Entrepreneurial and proactive
    ● Authorization to work in the US
